Mondays

Normally mondays are one of the better days of the week for me. I've had the weekend to de-stress, relax and generally unwind. Today however, I used up the last days holiday I have for the year.

Its not as stress free as it should be. I'm in the city and looking for a new job. Shephards, the brokerage I work for, has just sold out to giles. Because of this it now seems stupid to stay working in Orpington when I can have a short journey to work, more money and better career options.

To better my job I decided to have lunch with Keith Crafts of Kerry london. You know, see if he could put a few good words in with the contacts he has. After 1 to many pints lunch was over. Keith's agreed to helping me out. Of course, I need to email him my resume... I bloody need to finish updating it!

While I'm having the pints with Keith, the beer piped up and suggested it'll be a good idea to see a recruitment agency while I'm in the city. I should know by now that the beer never has good ideas. They always seem like good ideas but in practice there crap.

Anyways, I ring up and make the appointment with Danni from Hayes. Turn up half hour later than I said. Keith can yatter on when he wants too. Needless to say I'm feeling a bit merry by this point. Interview goes mildly will up to the point when danni warns me to not turn up to interviews after a drink.

I've agreed to email my resume. We'll see how it goes...
